A great deal of wailing emanates from Israel. There is the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem where Jews justifiably wail about the destruction of their Temple - and the Muslims now destroying the archeological remains of the Jewish history of the Temple Mt. Then there is the wailing from Muslim minarets - which should be stopped by legislation because it infringes on the religious preferences of non-Muslims, it is a source of fanatical incitement and it represents in essence a declaration of Islam over the land. Thirdly there is the wailing from religious minorities about resistance they experience in Eretz Israel - some Messianic (Christian) Jews even voted for Barak and Meretz in the previous election, hoping to lessen the influence of Shas - that one backfired because they got Natan Sharansky and an increase in Shas MKs (serves them right for their lack of discernment). We can call these three "wailings" the WWW of religion in Israel.

What this letter is more about, however, is the wailing of Mr. Arafat and other Arabs aimed at involving the nations in condemning Israel and to support the establishment of an international armed force to protect them (Arabs in the region mandated for a Jewish homeland). Most, disturbing, though, is the way Mr. Sharon and his government now copy the Arab wailers with wailing of their own to condemn Arab (actually Muslim induced) terrorism and violence. Where will that get them? It will also BACKFIRE due to the sophistication of the Arab's wailing campaign that has solicited the support of the media for their (unjustified) cause.

NO, NO, NO, Israel has to call to their God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That was what got them out of bondage in Egypt, and established in their own homeland - which has been mandated back to them in the early 1900s. That their God (as defined before - not the god of Ishmael and Mohammad) will keep on protecting them against the anti-Semitic world, is clear from

Isaiah 59:16 He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him (his chosen and first born son), and his own righteousness sustained him. (See also Isaiah 60).

Correspondence below about Islam being the driving force behind the Arab's claims of Israel's inheritance. One really feels desparate about the Israeli leaders being so blinded (by ignorance, religious spirits, humanism, fear of the nations, etc.), that they don't even think of attacking ISLAM as a means of stopping the aggression of the Arabs.

To relieve my exasperation somewhat, Arutz-7 News discerned the link between what is presently being perpetrated (dividing Israel) and the prophecy in Ezekiel 13:10-15 in their "QUOTE OF THE WEEK" (Arutz-7 News: Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002),
"They have led my people astray, saying: Peace, and there is no peace; and when he builds up a partition, behold, they daub (whitewash) it with whited plaster ... and when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you: Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it!? ... The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it. "

As in the bold proclamation of Franklin Graham in the scroll box, Jan Willem van der Hoeven (International Christian Zionist Center <iczc@iczc.org.il>, <http://www.israelmybeloved.com>) has also made scathing attacks on Islam in his last two e-letters.

Meanwhile Israeli religious politicians, of whom some even rabbis, and other rabbis, don't speak out against Islam. This, I think, is due to satan's clever latching onto the concept "monotheism" to hide Allah's true identity. Can one criticize them, though, if some Messianics don't even seem to realizes that we're not dealing with the same God!

I have written many letters to the media to draw attention to the fact that Islam is the source of suicide bombings, but to no avail. Jewish leaders keep on respecting Islamic structures more than their own, judging from what happened to Joseph's Tomb and what is now happening on the Temple Mount. Amending the 1967 Law on Holy Places should be a priority on rightwing MK's agenda. Why do we have to put up with the structures of a foreign god in Israel, especially for now, those in exclusively Jewish areas? Does Benny Elon realize that the Arabs will "transfer" themselves once they understand that they need to go somewhere else to serve their impotent god.

I suppose our God of Israel will have to take it upon himself to discredit this Allah to such an extent that Islam will peter out in the land mandated to the Jews.

How do you ladies feel about taking up the matter at the National Religious Broadcasters Conference on Feb.16-19 and elsewhere? Will you please pray about it?!

Praying for an understanding to take root about the God of Israel's heart about his land and his Jews.
