God's heart's cry about Israel and the Jews
A letter to a Christian e-mail forum
Dear Forum members
............ I want to propose a project that could unify us into a body with mutual understanding of something fundamental to our G-d of Israel and his Word. That is to discern his heart's cry for his land and his Jews and to show solidarity with what he still needs to accomplish with them.
Sense, for instance, the emotion in his declaration of intent in Isaiah 43:18 (Living bible), "But forget all that (the drowning of the Egyptians) -- it is nothing compared to what I'm going to do! 19 For I'm going to do a brand new thing. See I've already begun! DON'T YOU SEE IT? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home........"
We see what motivates him in verse 21, "I have made Israel for myself, and these my people will some day honor me before the world".
It is as if the Lord has made Israel to be his guinea pig to show the nations that he can keep his promises to them and accomplish his intention to eventually live among them and rule the world from his Holy Hill. That is G-d's AGENDA! But the church doesn't see it. It is too absorbed in what it has been indoctrinated with; the concepts, we are Israel, we are the Kingdom, and God doesn't need a temple any longer (but meanwhile his Temple Mount is being desecrated by a mosque of a foreign god!).
This is even the case with most believers in Yeshua (Jew and Gentile) who are burdened with Israel. Their burden is to evangelise the Jews, it is not Zionistic, which to me means to show solidarity with G-d with what he still needs to accomplish with his land and his people. It is political, physical (by contributing physically), and spiritual (as watchmen on the walls).
Please bear with me and let us get to know G-d's heart and his priorities concerning Israel.
