Essentially Zion represents the divine perspective of God and Greece is really

2. SALVATION: FROM, IN, TO
ZION
FROM: Romans 11:26 And so all Israel
will be saved, as it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will
turn godlessness away from Jacob.
Psalms 53:6 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God
restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.
Psalms 14:7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the
LORD restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be
glad.
Psalms 20:2 May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support
from Zion.
IN: Isaiah 14:32 What answer shall be given to the envoys of
that nation? "The LORD has established Zion, and in her his afflicted people
will find refuge.
Psalms 133:3 It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For
there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for

4. ZION, GOD'S HOLY
HILL
Psalms 2:6 "I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.
Psalms 3:4 To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill.
Psalms 15:1 {A psalm of David.} LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who
may live on your holy hill.
Psalms 24:3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his
holy place.
Isaiah 18:7 At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD Almighty from
a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an
aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers--the
gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the LORD
Daniel 9:16 O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your
anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins
and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an

Micah 4:1 In the last days the mountain of the LORD'S temple will be established
as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples
will stream to it.
Zephaniah 3:11 On that day you will not be put to shame for all the wrongs
you have done to me, because I will remove from this city those who rejoice
in their pride. Never again will you be haughty on my holy hill.
Zechariah 8:3 This is what the LORD says: "I will return to Zion and dwell

rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.
Lamentations 1:4 The roads to Zion mourn, for no one comes to her appointed
feasts. All her gateways are desolate, her priests groan, her maidens grieve,
and she is in bitter anguish.
Lamentations 1:17 Zion stretches out her hands, but there is no one to comfort
her. The LORD has decreed for Jacob that his neighbors become his foes; Jerusalem
has become an unclean thing among them.

over it.

6. THE LORD DEFENDS, PROTECTS,
RESTORES ZION
II Kings 19:34 I will defend this city and save
it, for my sake and for the sake of David my servant.
Psalms 102:13 You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time
to show favor to her; the appointed time has come. 16 For the LORD will rebuild
Zion and appear in his glory.
Isaiah 31:4 This is what the LORD says to me: "As a lion growls, a great
lion over his prey--and though a whole band of shepherds is called together
against him, he is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their
clamor--so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and
on its heights.
Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares
the LORD, 'because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.

Isaiah 4:3 Those who are left in Zion, who remain
in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living
in Jerusalem. 4 The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he
will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a
spirit of fire.
5 Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble
there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over all
the glory will be a canopy.
8. THE LORD WILL RETURN, APPEAR
IN ZION (Not Washington, Brussels, etc.)
Isaiah 40:9 You who bring good tidings to Zion,
go up on a high mountain. You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up
your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of
Judah, "Here is your God!
Isaiah 52:8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout
for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.
Isaiah 59:20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent
of their sins," declares the LORD.
9. THE LORD WILL RETURN THE JEWS
TO ZION
Psalms 126:1 {A song of ascents.} When the LORD
brought back the captives (exiles) to Zion, we were like men who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then
it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them.
Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion
with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will
overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Jeremiah 51:24 "Before your eyes I will repay
Babylon and all who live in Babylonia for all the wrong they have done in
Zion," declares the LORD.
Jeremiah 51:35 May the violence done to our flesh be upon Babylon," say the
inhabitants of Zion. "May our blood be on those who live in Babylonia," says
Jerusalem.
Joel 3:2 I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of
Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my
inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations
and divided up my land.
Zephaniah 3:14 Sing, O Daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and
rejoice with all your heart, O Daughter of Jerusalem. 15 The LORD has taken
away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The LORD, the King of
Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm. 16 On that day they
will say to Jerusalem, "Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.
17 The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great
delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you
with singing. 18 "The sorrows for the appointed feasts I will remove from
you; they are a burden and a reproach to you. 19 At that time I will deal
with all who oppressed you; I will rescue the lame and gather those who have
been scattered. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they
were put to shame.
11. ZION THE HEAVENLY
JERUSALEM
Isaiah 35:8 And a highway will be there; it
will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it
will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on
it. 9 No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they
will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there. 10 And the
ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting
joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow
and sighing will flee away.
Jeremiah 31:12 They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they
will rejoice in the bounty of the LORD--the grain, the new wine and the oil,
the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden,
and they will sorrow no more.
Jeremiah 50:5 They will ask the way to Zion and turn their faces toward it.
They will come and bind themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant
that will not be forgotten.
Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem,
the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of
angels in joyful assembly.
